I love helping people achieve the results they’ve been looking for from their exercise program. It’s all about helping you become more functional and achieving your goals.
Here’s what people who are achieving their own goals are saying:
My name is Sharon. I started to become somewhat inactive about a year and a half ago due to tendinitis in my ankle. One health issue led to another. I am planning on retiring in a little over a year and all I know is that I don’t want to work at the same company for nearly 30 years only to become a couch potato; I want to be an active retiree. I knew I needed help.
In September of 2009, a friend asked me if I wanted to attend a health seminar presented by John Chase. I was impressed with not only John’s knowledge of the body, but also of good nutrition and the importance of exercise. John’s last slide offered a free consultation of which I took advantage. At that meeting, I told John I needed a program designed for me, not the young woman over by the window. He took down my medical history, checked out my balance and range of motion.
I started my first personal training session about a week and a half after the seminar. I can now laugh at my first session. After a routine I did on a mat on the floor, I could not get up; I literally had to crawl to a ledge to boost up myself. I am now functional; I can climb stairs without huffing and puffing, get up from a chair without a struggle, cross my legs and I can get up off the floor. I was surprised that in less than a month I was moving better and quicker.
I would recommend John Chase’s services to people of all ages. I would especially recommend John to anyone who has become sedentary; he will design a workout program to fit your needs and capabilities. He will get you doing routines that you may think you cannot do, but will be able to do them. If you truly are unable to do a routine, John will figure out an alternative one that you can do without hurting yourself.
The best recommendation I can give John Chase is that I am going to retain his services for another 10 sessions.
Thank you, John Chase, for getting me moving and getting my lifestyle back on track.
I first met John Chase during the Bolingbrook Park District Biggest Loser Challenge in the winter of 2009. He was my team’s coach, giving encouragement, challenges, nutritional advice, etc. in a gentle, but effective manner.
I hired him as a personal trainer in late September. After 10 sessions, I am signing up for another ten. I am impressed with my improvement in body fitness. I am not a runner, but I not only finished 3 5K’s, but successively shaved off time from each preceding month’s run. I placed 2nd, 7th, and 4th in my age group. I owe those accomplishments to John for training me to improve my strength and resistance. I swim daily and noticed I use more powerful and effective strokes. I recently resumed Jazzercise exercise classes which I hadn’t done for 1 1/2 years. I no longer “powderpuff”, but make my moves with control and precision. I bike ride often. I use more strenuous gears now that I have increased my stamina.
John exemplifies professionalism working with his clients. He creates unique training sessions geared to the individual’s needs.
I highly recommend you hire John as your trainer so you can be all that you can be.
